WHAT TO EXPECT FROM YOUR LEARNING JOURNEY WITH DRIVEable
At your first lesson we will ask questions about your driving experience to date (If any), we will ask you if you have any anxieties, learning or intellectual disabilities, confidence issues or any phobias. We will then adapt our teaching to YOU as an individual, we do not believe in a “One size fits all” mentality!
We will give you open and honest feedback and discuss with you a plan to help you move forward when having lessons with your parents/supervisor. As we monitor your progress, we will provide you with a PRACTICE SHEET. The more practice you do in between lessons the more you will get out of your lesson/s with your accredited DRIVING INSTRUCTOR!
And don't worry about ‘bad habits’ as we see these as learning opportunities.
On your first lesson, you will get to know and feel comfortable with your empathetic, caring, neutering, positive professional instructor. And then if you are comfortable, we would LOVE your parents/supervisor to come in the car with us to see how we teach, so they can help you and be on the same page!

We will not say you are ‘’TEST READY’’ unless you are!
And lastly but importantly….we WILL NOT waste your money or time. You will learn lots, you will be reminded of what you need to do, in a calm and respectful manner. And you will have fun!
- Pre-fill your log book prior to your driving lesson.
- Pay prior to your lesson or bring cash on the day. Going to the ATM during the lesson loses valuable time.
- Practice what your driving instructor shows you in-between lessons so we can move you on to the next level. We will show you some different techniques, BUT your parents/supervisor may show you another way! Don't worry as you can merge all these ways and ‘’find your own way’’ we will let you know if it fits the Examiners brief.
- Please make sure you are ready for your lesson– the more awake and alert you are, the more you will absorb during your driving lesson.
- You may have passed your L test but we all forget or need to keep up to date with road rules. Jump online and refresh often – it’s FREE.
